Following her debut by nearly 20 years, which have included a run of Top 10 albums, Nichole Nordeman’s fifth full-length, Every Mile Mattered, is her first to top the Billboard Christian albums chart.
With most of its tracks emanating vulnerability and gratitude through a pop production sheen, an exception and standout is a reworked version of her 2016 hit single “Slow Down” from The Unmaking EP.
A song she wrote in honor of her son’s fifth-grade graduation, here the sweetly sentimental piano ballad features vocals by Nordeman and her younger daughter, Pepper Ingram.
