Mike Rowland's suite "The Fairy Ring" was inspired by a song he heard in the forest, then recorded in his living room with the help of synthesizers for instrumental color.

The piece was later adopted by everyone from Shirley MacLaine to the pianist Kate Williams, and has proven one of the genre's more enduring pieces of music.

ARC-EN-CIEL: THE HEALING continues Rowland's penchant for classically inspired themes brought to life with piano, synthesizer, and orchestral shadings.

The feel evoked is in keeping with Rowland's penchant for fairies, forests, and other imagery from classical fantasy, and the overall effect is as sweeping and soothing as his best work.
